In December Brooke House Sixth Form College in Hackney hosted a Speakers for Schools talk with Barclays CEO Antony Jenkins. Antony spoke to 120 students about tough decisions as CEO and his focus as he has led Barclays, afterwards taking student questions varying from his thoughts on how students should prepare for the job market to how banks affect public confidence in the recovering economy. A few students even had the opportunity to have a follow-up discussion with Antony joined by BBC economics editor Robert Peston asking tough questions about the state of banking today and their views on inheriting it, as students studying business and economics.

The talk was recorded as a part of Antony Jenkins’ guest edit of the BBC Radio 4 Today Programme on 31st December with an overall focus on leadership for this edition.
