Generate London hosts Clemens Weisshaar on 26th June
1 June 2017
In addition to our own events, Speakers for Schools helps sign-post free, inspiring and informative enrichment opportunities for state schools and their students, such as Generate London events.
As a charitable project, Generate London hosts interactive workshops and talks with industry leaders outside of school hours, each session providing a number of free tickets to state school students. These are special after-school workshops where they reserve spaces especially for students from schools within our network.
Generate’s next speaker is Clemens Weisshaar, industrial designer and co-founder of acclaimed design practice Kram/Weisshaar.
Weisshaar was born in Munich, Germany where he completed an apprenticeship as a metal worker before studying product design at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art in London. He then worked as an assistant to designer Konstantin Grcic for three years before founding his first office for design in 2000.
KRAM/WEISSHAAR collaborates with global brands like Audi, Adidas, Nike and Prada (among many others) and their works can be found in the permanent collections of the Vitra Design Museum, MoMA and the Centre Pompidou as well as in various private collections.
