Betsy Tobin



Author of four novels: Bone House (shortlisted for the Commonwealth Prize), The Bounce, Ice Land and most recently, Crimson China, a novel set in the illegal Chinese migrant community in the aftermath of the Morecambe Bay tragedy. Crimson China was a Book At Bedtime on Radio 4, a Sainsbury’s Book of the Week selection and the Mumsnet’s book of the month for July

I also teach creative writing at an inner London secondary school as part of the First Story programme.
