David Giampaolo

David is the founder and Chief Executive of Pi Capital, a role he has held since 2002 following a management buy-in. Pi Capital is a unique investor network that finds growth equity and alternative asset investment opportunities for its members and negotiates participation in select private equity deals and funds. It allows individual investors to participate in transactions on an opt-in basis that are usually the exclusive preserve of institutions. In addition to investment opportunities, Pi Capital offers its members exclusive vibrant social and educational programmes. He previously founded, built up and sold several businesses and health club chains in the US, Europe and Asia. David has financial interests in several other businesses and industries and has been involved as an investor, advisor and board member of some of the most successful health & fitness companies in the world. David is Chairman of EXi, non-executive director of Agronomics and also a senior advisor to AMG (Affiliated Managers Group, Inc.) and BC Partners. David is a member of YPO, the Chief Executives Organization and the Global Leadership Circle of ONE and an American who has been living in the UK for the past 30 years.
