Evan Davis

Biography

Evan Davis is a BBC presenter. He fronts the popular business reality show, Dragons Den; he is also known as one of the presenters of the Radio 4 Today programme and the business discussion programme The Bottom Line.

For most of his career, he has been a specialist in economics. He served as the BBC’s Economics Editor for the years 2001 to 2008. And he has made several television documentary series on business and economic themes. The most recent of these are one called Business Nightmares and an other entitled Made in Britain (in which he looked at the industries and skills on which the UK survive).

He has written two books, Public Spending (in the late 90s) and Made in Britain (in 2011).

He studied at St Johns College Oxford and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in the US.
