Biography

Gavin is the Managing Director of Amazon Web Services, EMEA and is responsible for driving the teams and strategies that are helping customers and partners to power Europe’s digital economy, through Cloud Computing. Gavin has more than 16 years’ experience working in some of the most prominent technology companies of their time. He spent 10 years in various leadership positions at EMC, before most recently serving as EMEA Vice President and General Manager of Cloud Services at VMware. Gavin is a mentor to a number of start-up companies and an avid supporter of diversity in technology. Gavin is an alumni of Cranfield Business School and IMD School of Management, and also attended Harvard Business School, majoring on business finance.
