Liz Kendall

Liz Kendall has been the MP for Leicester West since 2010. She served as the Shadow Minister for Care and Older People during the last Parliament and was Labour’s East Midlands EU Champion during the EU referendum campaign. Prior to her election she worked as Director of the Ambulance Service Network – the national organisation that represents all NHS ambulance services – and Director of the Maternity Alliance charity, where she campaigned to improve maternity and paternity pay and leave, give parents more rights to flexible working, and provide better health services and childcare for new parents and their babies. Liz stood to be leader of the Labour Party in 2015.
