Biography

Mark Rigby is Chief Executive of Business Rent and Rates specialists, CVS. He was appointed to the role in October 2010 to support the development of the business and its national expansion strategy. Since his appointment, CVS has achieved a number of accolades including being ‘Highly Commended’ for National Property Adviser of the Year at the Estates Gazette Awards 2014 and being named ‘Britain’s largest business rates advisory firm’ by the Financial Times.
Mark has more than 30 years’ experience in the commercial property industry with expertise in managing the delivery of professional property services. Since appointment at CVS, Mark has been instrumental in developing the CVS brand and profile along with the surveying network and management structure.
He is a former Chief Executive of Lambert Smith Hampton and led the firm’s development of an integrated national service offer and successful national growth.
He is a Chartered Surveyor, a Chartered Director and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
A former Wasps Club Captain (1990-92) who played in the 1st XV from 1982-1993, he is now also President of Wasps. He also played for Middlesex, London, England Classicals and British Lions Classicals.
