Partner, Manchester Square Partners
Michael Webber advises senior executives on their careers when changing role within their organisations; planning their futures; transitioning between companies and sectors; and building a professional life after full-time executive. His clients range from FTSE 100 board executives and the equivalent in professional services to self employed individuals. He has a particularly strong interest in the power of increased self–awareness to help improve performance and develop authentic leadership.
Prior to founding Manchester Square Partners in 2005, Michael spent five years in executive search, with GKR and Whitehead Mann. Previously, he had a 24 year career in international banking, focusing on capital raising, working for Bank of America, Orion Bank, County NatWest and Industrial Bank of Japan.
Originally from South Africa, Michael was educated in Italy and the UK, where he gained an MA in Engineering at Cambridge University (Jesus College), also winning a Rowing Blue in 1973. When not advising his clients, Michael acts as an expert witness on employment and recruitment issues and enjoys advising young graduates on career planning. In his remaining time, he also enjoys the occasional motorbike tour and life in Mallorca.
