Paula Cooper

Paula Cooper works for Toyota (GB) plc and has over 25 years’ experience in the automotive business.

Paula has a BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages and Politics and a post graduate Diploma in Management. She is currently working towards iLM Level 5 in Coaching

Her career commenced with a car rental company, recruited as part of a graduate management programme. After managing car rental branches, she joined a motor business, which operated two dealerships, to run a car rental agency.

Paula joined Toyota GB plc, initially in a vehicle supply role, and has subsequently held roles in Fleet, Vehicle Marketing, Lean Operations, After Sales, Network development and is currently Director, ConsumerOne. Her work has included a number of key projects from across the Toyota group, including Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Europe.

She has a keen interest is supporting the development of people and participates as mentor or coach in a number of Toyota (GB) programmes.

Paula is currently involved in reviewing how Toyota (GB) and its network of retailers need to change to meet the needs of today and tomorrow’s customers. A broad project, focused on accelerating the change and transformation required, through insight and testing.

Paula’s participation has been made possible through Speakers for Schools partnership with the UK Automotive 30% Club and her school talks will include a focus on inspiring girls to consider opportunities in the automotive sector and encouraging all students to aim high.
