Siobhan Kenny MBE

Communications and business consultant

Siobhan Kenny is a communications and business consultant, having worked at Board level in government and the creative industries. Until July 2021, she was CEO of Radiocentre, the industry body for UK commercial radio responsible for marketing the medium, representing the industry to Government and regulators, and clearing advertising scripts for broadcast. She was awarded an MBE for services to commercial radio and young people in the New Year’s Honours Lists 2022. She was made a fellow of the Radio Academy in 2018.
Siobhan’s passion is to spread opportunity to all young people. At Radiocentre, she championed diversity and drove new partnerships while overseeing record advertising revenues and listening figures for the radio and audio industry. The Young Audio Awards, now in their fifth year, are an industry wide awards event shining a spotlight on 8-18 year olds who love making radio and audio.
Prior to joining Radiocentre, Siobhan played a key role in bringing the 2012 Olympics to London as a Board Director of the Culture, Media and Sport department, then under the leadership of Tessa Jowell. Her background is in political and strategic communication for content businesses going through transformation, including The Walt Disney Company and publisher HarperCollins.
