Leading Businessmen & Women Share Candid Insights In New Podcast

26 February 2018

We are excited to announce the launch of a new podcast, Breakfast with the Boss created by Vox Media Ltd in association with Speakers for Schools. Each week, award winning host, Natalie Campbell and previous executive chairman of Marks and Spencers, Lord Rose of Monewden, will interview leading figures in business from FTSE 100s to young upcoming businessmen and women.

The podcast is also an excellent opportunity to hear some valuable insights into the exciting world of business from leading figures; some of whom are part of our S4S speaker network. It also provides guests with the time and space to answer the more challenging questions that are being put to their industry.

Just like a S4S talk, each guest will be sharing some of their experiences to date such as their journey from the classroom to the boardroom, the biggest challenges they have faced, and what exactly it means to be ‘the boss’. In keeping with our national campaign, guests will also discuss what skills they think young people will need for work in 2030 and what advice they would pass onto the next generation. This is a great resource to involve your students in the campaign in a unique, fun and engaging way.

The first episode will be available to download on iTunes or Soundcloud on 26th February. You can listen to the trailer here.

You can also stay up to date with the podcast on their Twitter page.

On March 1st, we are launching our national campaign, ‘What skills will young people need for work in 2030?’. Over 30 of the country’s leading figures will be giving school talks across the country, sharing their unique insights with young people on what they think will happen to industry, what got them to where they are today and how to cultivate skills for future success.
