9 October 2013
S4S Question Time Debate, chaired by Robert Peston with panelists Jamal Edwards, Helena Morrissey, Sir Charles Dunstone…
Speakers for Schools had the opportunity to host a ‘Question Time’ style panel with both industry leaders and Head Boy and Head Girl, focusing the discussion on the prospects and ambitions of the next generation.
The debate was chaired by Robert Peston and streamed by TES Live, allowing classrooms across the country to tune in and submit questions to the panel. They brought students’ views to the forefront, discussing their aspirations, ambition and issues facing their generation.
This event marked the launch of the first Speakers for Schools Week, October 14 -18th, a national campaign seeing 25 of the country’s most influential leaders in business, the arts, science and technology giving talks in state schools across the country.
