We’re hiring: Communications Officer

Speakers for Schools is a small team with national reach and profile, working with our esteemed speaker network to help them reach hundreds of schools each year through our assembly-style school talks and our work experience programme, S4SNextGen. With an ambitious and entrepreneurial team, we have facilitated over 6,000 talks with a growing network of 1,200 speakers and nearly 1,700 state secondary schools UK wide.

Our charity is now hiring for a Communications Officer as a part of our permanent team. This role is based in our London offices supporting our 8 person charity.

Communications Officer

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000
Based: Farringdon, London
Closing date: Wednesday 1st May @ 23:59pm

Our charity is looking for an enthusiastic, naturally talented and experienced communicator to boost our digital and social media communications as well as support the CEO in creating high-impact materials, outreach and engagement throughout the charity.


You will need to have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, be confident creating content for our digital channels, with a proven track record of successfully engaging different audiences. Good photography skills and experience using design packages such as Canva/InDesign is desirable.
