Speakers for Schools is a small team with national reach and profile, working with our esteemed speaker network to help them reach hundreds of schools each year and place state school students in prestigious work experience placements at leading companies. With an ambitious and entrepreneurial team, we have facilitated over 5,500 talks with a growing network of 1,200 speakers and nearly 1,700 state secondary schools UK wide.

Our charity is now hiring for two fantastic positions as a part of our permanent team to help us have even more impact. These roles are based in our London offices supporting our 8 person team.
You will need at least 2-3 years of professional office experience to apply for either role, and both will begin interviews 2nd week January so please do not wait to apply!


Project Support Assistant 

Salary: £24-26,500 PA, DOE
Based: Farringdon, London

We are looking for a highly organised, driven self-starter to support our Programme Manager (PM) directly on running and growing our work experience programme, S4SNextGen.

This role will offer day to day management of the student application processes within the S4SNextGen portal, basic technical support and chasing as needed with all users (employers, teachers and students). The ideal candidate will be happy to manage progress in spreadsheets, quick to learn new tech, comfortable liaising with programme participants over phone and email, and willing to assist with database support and general administration.

Schools and Colleges Network Manager

Salary: £30-36,000 PA,  DOE
Based: Farringdon, London
Closing date: *22nd January*

We are looking for a highly organised, experienced and motivated team member who would be excited to drive forward our 1,700+ strong school network as we continue to grow. Responsible for a major part of the charity’s work, the Schools Manager role requires someone confident in managing strategic relationships, administering a large remote network of contacts, helping programmatically ensure we target interventions to those who need it the most (deprived areas; geographically under-served; struggling schools), securing educational partners and ensuring the charity’s team stays abreast of policy and issues facing our state schools.
