Schools & Colleges Steering Group

Schools & Colleges Steering Group

Our Schools and Colleges Steering Group was established to help inform our own work as well as stay connected across sector developments.  This is key to evolving how we improve our impact, work with the practical requirements of state education practitioners and for feedback on growth plans. We also believe in helping further connect and share best practice across like-minded organisations, with hopes to foster a community exchange and knowledge base that benefits our entire network.

We are privileged to have an advisory and consulting body comprised of volunteers from our speakers, schools and the education sector representatives. Our Schools & Colleges Steering Group currently includes:

  • Fidelma Boyd, Deputy Headteacher, St Angela’s Ursuline School
  • Susan Cousin, retired Headteacher, Liveryman, Worshipful Company of Educators
  • Lesley Craig, Principal, Thomas Hepburn Academy; Executive Member, ASCL
  • Phil Crompton, CEOTrent Academies Group
  • Kit Davies, Deputy Principal, North Hertfordshire College
  • Melanie Essex, Freelance/Project Consultant, TES Global
  • Sharon Hague, Vice-President, Pearson Qualification Services
  • Hannah Mcauley, Head of University and Career Success, Ark
  • Anita Money, Specialist School Administrator, Maria Fidelis Roman Catholic Convent School
  • Rebekah Stackhouse, Schools Partnership Manager, TeachFirst
  • Thomas Stephens, Livingstone Aspirations
  • Jim Thewliss, General Secretary, School Leaders Scotland

We would like to extend our gratitude to the members of the steering group. They are vital to ensuring that the charity has a well-informed and well-rounded view of the sector to ensure that resources and focus are being directed in the best manner possible for students.
