Biography

Allie is the editor of The Love Book (“Fantastic anthology” – The Guardian) and the co-editor of iF: A Treasury of Poems for Almost Every Possibility (“This gorgeous and electrifying anthology should be on the shelf of every child in Britain” – UK Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy). She is also the creator of The Love Book app and the co-creator of the iF Poems app (available at your App store).
Allie is passionate about literature, especially poetry and the innovative power of technology to help spread the love of words. She has spoken at numerous schools and colleges and also at The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, The Soho Literature Festival and The Sunday Times Education Festival.
Her apps feature readings by Helena Bonham Carter, Emma Watson, Bill Nighy, Tom Hiddleston, Helen McCrory, Harry Enfield, Gina Bellman and Damian Lewis.
Tatler call her the ‘Poetry Powerhouse’. The Times say ‘Hurray for iF poetry.’
