Biography

Andy Chew is a Managing Director in Cisco UK and Ireland where he leads the Architecture and Innovation Teams. Prior to this he was Head of the Collaboration Architecture team, and had previously held that role in Cisco’s Emerging Markets Theatre.

He has overall responsibility for the creation and delivery of the Theatre’s Architectural and Innovation goals, the related Go To Market Strategy and ensuing Personnel and organizational development goals. Externally he works closely with industry, Partners and Customers and leads several of Cisco’s broader external initiatives around innovation and mentoring.

Andy is passionate about building and leading teams, creating environments and empowering people to get the most out of themselves. He loves to look at how we apply technology to solve important real world challenges.

Prior to Cisco Andy spent 7 years at Siemens where he held various international leadership roles, including heading up global Unified Communications business management and Alliance Development for Unified Communications.

Andy has 20+ years General Management experience in the IT software and Services sectors, and has held a broad range of international positions.

He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he is a Fellow of the Sloan School of Management.
