Biography

I’ve held roles in marketing, events, brand, HR and internal communications over the past 17 years in publishing, software and media businesses across the UK, Europe and the Middle East (Emap, The Sage Group and Sky). For the past 6 years, I’ve been at Sky delivering cultural change, supporting M&As, embedding brand values, coaching leadership teams and building an effective communications function of circa 20 people who support staff across Europe.
Internal Communications at Sky is a multi-disciplined function made up of ex-journalists, new presenters and business-savvy people. Our aim is to inform and inspire our 33,000 Sky employees so they know where Sky is heading and are passionate about what we do, so they do their best for our customers and talk to friends and family about Sky. We produce videos and events, write scripts, publish a daily news site, coach senior leaders to be better communicators and create strategies to transform the culture of our businesses.
In addition, I lead an initiative to get more women into senior leadership positions at Sky and support diversity in the work place.
I am a working mum. I work 4 days a week, live in Newcastle but spend 3 days a week in London, Scotland, Italy or Germany.
