Biography

I was the first woman chosen by Reuters as a foreign correspondent on its Graduate Trainee scheme working in London and Rome. I have also worked briefly for the BBC World Service and am the author of nine books of non fiction, mostly biographies of iconic women. I am an officially accredited Nadfas lecturer, so travel regularly around Britain, America, Australia and Europe to give lectures and also have been an official lecturer on cruises. I am a former chair of Britain’s 9,000 society of Authors and now sit on the Council of the SOA and make regular TV and Radio appearances especially on documentaries about the Abdication.
