Biography

Bridget is an economist and one of the founders of and Senior Partner of Volterra Partners, established to apply leading-edge mathematical and statistical techniques to solve economic and business problems.
Her specialist expertise includes economic development, risk, transport and agglomeration economics, development evaluation, infrastructure, forecasting, financial services and policy analysis related to these areas.
She focuses on long term investments and risk, and has been engaged in problems of forecasting both prior to and during the financial crisis. She has been responsible for developing innovative arguments for transport infrastructure and has also advised on London’s prospects over the next thirty years as part of the London Plan over the last decade.
Bridget is a Non-Executive Director of Ulster Bank Group, where she chairs the Risk Committee, and of Network Rail Ltd, where she chairs Audit and Risk. Bridget was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2013 Birthday Honours list for services to the economy.
