David is a partner in the strategic consultancy the Holdingham Group which advises global client.. David served for three years as director of strategy for UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown, during that time he advised the prime minister through a financial and political expenses crisis. He was also the lead negotiator for Labour on the UK’s first ever TV debates . Before this, he spent 15 years at WPP, for the last five of which he worked alongside the CEO, Sir Martin Sorrell, managing clients’ global brands. He is a visiting fellow of Harvard College and the University of Chicago.
David attended his local comprehensive, Falkirk High School and studied politics and economics at the University of Glasgow, and holds an MBA with distinction from London Business School.
