Dr Andrew King

Head of School of the Arts, University of Hull


Dr Andrew King has a background in music technology and is currently the Head of the School of Arts at The University of Hull. His main area of teaching and research is record production and he has interviewed several internationally acclaimed record producers and published in this area ‘The Routledge Companion to Music, Technology, and Education’, ‘Music, Technology, Education: Critical Perspectives’, and the forthcoming ‘Music, Technology, Innovation: Industry Perspectives’. He has been invited to give presentations to universities throughout the world including Cologne, Berlin, and Melbourne (Australia). He is also part of a world wide network of music producers many of which are grammy award winning artists.
