Dr Ayesha Ali provides public health leadership and advice to NHS England nationally and regionally on the commissioning of specialised and highly specialised services ensuring that they are clinically effective and meet population health needs.
Her clinical background is in paediatrics and she is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Faculty of Public Health. She also sits on the NICE Highly Specialised Technologies Committee.
Dr Ali has a keen interest in teaching and training particularly the importance of the role of public health data to inform commissioning and maximising the impact of population health models to reduce the future burden of disease.
