Biography

Dr Paul Kennedy is a Lecturer in Spanish and European Studies in the Department of Politics, Languages and International Studies at the University of Bath. Before entering academia he worked as a linguist in Spanish and Russian at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He is originally from Manchester.

He is the author of numerous articles on Spanish politics and his monograph entitled ‘The Spanish Socialist Party and the modernisation of Spain’ was published by Manchester University Press in 2013. He is currently working on a book entitled, ‘Podemos and the Art of the Possible’ with co-author, David Cutts, for Manchester University Press.
