Biography

Elisabeth started her career in Edinburgh working as a US equity fund manager. In 1992 she left Scotland to work for Schroders in Hong Kong, initially as a fund manager then as a client relationship manager and latterly as Country Head. During her time in Hong Kong she chaired the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association and was a founding board member of The Women’s Foundation. In 2008 she returned to the UK, went to London Business School, and returned to Schroders for a brief spell. Today Elisabeth is a non-executive director of 4 listed investment trusts and a trustee of the New Entrepreneurs Foundation. She is married and has two teenage children.
