Biography

Hannah Gagen is Advocacy Manager at UK Theatre and Society of London Theatre (SOLT), where she looks after the companies’ public affairs, policy and stakeholder engagement. She works on issues ranging from workforce development and inclusion to business resilience and income generation. Before joining UK Theatre and SOLT, Hannah took a year out from communications and got her pre-apprenticeship in Bespoke Tailoring and also her Fine Art Foundation. Prior to this she was Senior Public Affairs Manager for Starbucks EMEA, and before this was Public Affairs and Patient Engagement Manager at Pharmaceutical company, Boehringer Ingelheim. She has a strong interest in both cultural and health policy having also worked at Marie Curie Cancer Care and Arts Council England. She began her career in her university placement year as a Political Researcher at Connect Public Affairs and has a BA (Hons) in Public Relations.
