Biography

Hugh secured a bank loan of £5,000 and founded independent marketing agency RPM in Jan’93 aged 26 with two friends. Today RPM is an award winning agency employing 160 people, working globally from its HQ in Shepherds Bush with offices in Lagos and Amsterdam. RPM create multi-channel campaigns for clients including Diageo, Sky, Heineken, Mondelez, Virgin and many more.

Hugh is passionate about helping young people realise their dreams, whether mentoring for Start Up Britain or investing in fledgling businesses through RPM Ventures.

Age 17 Hugh suffered temporary paralysis through a rugby injury sustained at school, however after three operations, countless procedures spanning 30 years and two years of training and treatment he achieved his goal of walking to the North Pole in April this year; with his team raising £500,000 for The Prince’s Trust.

A Business Leader in the Marketing Society, a Board Member of the Marketing Agencies Association and a council member of The Advertising Association.
