John Kerr is the Managing Director of Global Consulting at Deloitte; a $10bn, 45,000 person practice, the largest Consulting practice in the world. It forms part of the $32bn, 200,000 person worldwide firm, Deloitte
In his leadership role, John has visited over 30 countries around the world. He has met executives who operate in most of those countries. He was in New York on 9/11, London on 7/7, Paris on the day of the Concorde crash and experienced an earthquake in Taiwan.
John was born and raised in Motherwell, Scotland. He attended a comprehensive school and was the first member of his family to go on to university. He is a Chartered Accountant and has spent his entire working career in two firms, Arthur Andersen, where he became a member of the global board, and Deloitte. John was a member of the Andersen board when it faced the Enron crisis, which led to the winding up of the firm.
John lives in Richmond, Surrey, is married to Louise and has five children.
