Jonathan Lane

Chairman, European Real Estate Investment Banking, Morgan Stanley


Jonathan is Chairman of EMEA Real Estate Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley and a Senior Advisor to the firm. Prior to that, he was co-head of EMEA Real Estate Investment Banking.

He holds relationships with many of the European industry’s leading participants and has significant experience in a wide variety of M&A, equity and debt transactions both for property companies, corporations with significant property holdings and Governments.

Jonathan is a member of a number of Governmental and industry policy-making bodies. He is also a member of the Investment Property Forum and ULI, and was on the strategic working group of the Real Estate Index Market, a founding member of the European Real Estate Securities Association, and represented the industry in its discussions with Government on the introduction of REITS in the UK.
