Since graduating from the University of Sheffield with a BMus (2008) and Masters in Ethnomusicology (2009) – specialising in subcultures, how they are formed, and the role music plays – Liam Tootill has undertaken a number of roles in the UK tech + creative industries. A Director at SBTV, Liam has played both a creative and business development role for the brand; winning a Digital Innovators award for Content in China in 2014. Liam has also consulted for Syco Entertainment and Odd Child Recordings – working with Cher Lloyd and Labrinth, contributed to i-D magazine and is a co-founder of award-winning, training provider, Supa Academy. In October 2015, Liam was featured in GQ Style as ‘the future businessman’. Today, Liam heads up Operations for Founders of the Future – delivering programmes, events and tools for future founders in their journey to become tech entrepreneurs. He is also a co-founder at HausBots – a robotics startup developing a wall-painting robot.
