Born on a council estate in Epsom, Surrey. Left school at 15. When I left school I only knew what I didn’t want to do. I was rebellious and my life could easily have gone in the wrong direction. First job as a messenger boy for Financial Times. Later became the manager of FT Business Information Service. Worked in Middle East before returning to start a business in media monitoring sector. Sold several businesses in the sector for a combined sum in excess of £20m. In 2000 started writing books and have had 13 books published including autobiographies with footballers George Best and Peter Osgood, true crime titles, novels and most recently a book about the 1970s pop band the Bay City Rollers. I am marrried with five adult children and lives between Surrey and Norfolk.
