Head of Strategy, O2
Nick joined the O2 in 2008 and joined the Strategy team. That team is responsible for helping set the direction for O2 in the UK. Nick was promoted to be Head of Strategy in 2011. In that time Nick has worked on a wide range of projects including setting up the mobile company giffgaff and leading the sale of the O2’s Home Broadband business in 2013.
Ahead of joining O2, Nick worked in a start-up company. Before this Nick worked in strategy consulting for Bain & Company and Deloitte Consulting, advising large companies on strategy. Previously he had worked in investment banks including UBS and Goldman Sachs.
Nick spent two years in the United States while he earned his MBA at the University of Berkeley, California. He also holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bristol.
Nick lives in Buckinghamshire and is married with three young children. In his spare time Nick enjoys travelling, going to the gym and following Tottenham Hotspur. He also advises and invests in start-up companies.
