Former Director of Legislative Affairs to the Prime Minister

Biography

Nikki da Costa joined Cicero from No.10 Downing Street where she was Director of Legislative Affairs. Part of the Prime Minister’s senior political team, Nikki was responsible for advising the Prime Minister on all parliamentary matters, delivering the domestic and Brexit legislative programme, and building relationships across Whitehall and Westminster. Previously Nikki ran her own business providing training to public affairs professionals, was Managing Director at Bellenden (now Newington Communications), and served in-house as Strategic Counsel to AQA, the examination board, and Head of UK Government Relations for international public services giant Serco. Since leaving No.10, Nikki regularly contributes to national and international print and broadcast media, writing for the Telegraph, Spectator and the Times, providing a view for the New York Times, as well as appearing on the Today Programme, BBC News, ITV, Channel 4, CNBC and LBC.
