Paul is an adman. If you want to know anything about advertising he’s your man.

His 37 years of agency experience began at Saatchi & Saatchi where he started as an account executive and rose to being its CEO within ten years. After successfully steering the agency through the early 90s recession and with the agency at the top of the new business league table, he left to co-found Bainsfair Sharkey Trott with John Sharkey and Dave Trott, widely recognised as one of London’s most successful independent agencies at that time. He is now the Director General of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising, the world famous authority on how and why advertising works. Paul has been involved with some of the most famous advertising campaigns of all time – for brands like Cadbury, British Airways, Castlemaine XXXX, John Smith’s beer and French Connection.
