Biography

Anand was brought up in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and taught at the University of Oxford and at Birmingham University prior to moving to Kings. He works on the politics and policies of the European Union, British relations with the European Union, and the place of Europe in world politics. As well as researching and teaching, he has been an adviser in the House of Lords and worked with senior politicians both in the UK and other European states. He is currently trying to make sense of the debate about British membership of the European Union, and whether this is a good thing or not.
