Professor John Greenman

Head, School of Biological, Biomedical and Environmental Sciences

I have lead a multi-disciplinary research group investigating the biology of cancers (particularly Head & Neck and colorectal malignancies) for the past fifteen years. the group involves biologists, chemists and clinicians.

Recently we have pioneered the use of microfluidic technology – popularly termed lab on a chip – to develop novel tools for studying tumour biology. These devices have the potential to become new clinical tools.
