Professor Tony Rudd

Biography

Tony is a stroke physician based at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Professor of Stroke Medicine at Kings College London. He has worked in the NHS since qualifying as a doctor 40 years ago. He has been the National Clinical Director for Stroke in NHS England since 2013 and Since 2010 he has been the clinical director for stroke in London, overseeing the implementation of a radical reconfiguration of services. He was given an CBE in the Queens birthday honours in 2013.
