Roderick Seligman

Managing Director, World Productions


Roderick is Managing Director of World Productions, which was voted TV production company of the year at the industry Broadcast Awards and the Edinburgh TV Awards. World made the most watched TV drama of 2018 (Bodyguard) and also 2019 (Line of Duty 6) and makes drama for Sky, Netflix, the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV.

Roderick studied philosophy, politics and economics at Oxford University, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen (1976), attended INSEAD Business School in France (1984) and also worked in the City at leading Merchant Bank Lazard Brothers before entering TV production in 1990 with TVF plc. Roderick joining World Productions in 1997.

Roderick fought a parliamentary election in 1983. His interests include skiing (former Captain of the Oxford University Ski Team), sailing (he has a yacht in France) and golf (with a very poor handicap). Roderick lives in central London with his wife and 2 children.
