Simon Belsham joined in May 2015 as Chief Executive Officer to build the brand’s future growth and development as the leading curated online marketplace connecting the best small creative businesses with the world.

Simon’s career has been focused on unlocking the opportunities of technology and retail amidst evolving customer behaviours. Through his experience creating and growing online retail businesses at different points of inflection, Simon has gained invaluable insights to inform both his vision for and importantly to help support and grow the small creative businesses that define the brand.

Starting his career as a consultant at Cap Gemini, in 2003 Simon joined Tesco and over the next seven years led a variety of projects developing the operating model for the UK business, primarily in convenience, supply chain, general merchandise and latterly online with Tesco Direct. In 2011, he joined Ocado as Director of Non-Food where he was responsible for building general merchandise platforms – first of which was pet site – to link with Ocado’s home delivery network. Simon re-joined Tesco in June 2013 as Managing Director of Grocery Home Shopping and became Online Director, managing all online businesses, in January 2015.

Simon earned his BA(hons) in Natural Sciences and Psychology at University of Cambridge (2000) and his MBA from Harvard Business School (2007).
