Biography

I lead KPMG in the UK, having been elected to my role in 2012.
My early career was spent in banking, with S G Warburg and Nat West, then I set up my own debt advisory business before joining KPMG in 1999.
i advise major companies on their capital structure and finance requirements.
I am a member of the CBI President’s Committee, I am on the Global Leadership Board of the University of Manchester, a trustee of Pancreatic Cancer UK and Chair of the KPMG Foundation.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a graduate (economics) of the University of Manchester. I attended Haberdashers’ Aske’s School Elstree.
