Steve joined the M&C Saatchi Group in April 2004 to set up the agency’s Sport & Entertainment company, formed to exploit brand communication and sponsorships in the world of sport, music and film.

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment works to connect brands to consumers through the things people love. With offices in London, Berlin, Sydney, New York, South Africa and Los Angeles, a team of 125 sector specialists across the globe deliver the agency’s core disciplines across sport & entertainment, including rights amplification, sponsorship consultancy, PR, branded content creation & experiential production. Current clients include Samsung, O2, NatWest, Ballantine’s, Coca-Cola, Reebok, and BNY Mellon.

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment is the UK’s most awarded sports marketing agency having been voted Sport Agency of the Year at the Sport Industry Awards a record 6 times was named UK Sponsorship Awards, Agency of the Year in 2017.

Steve joined from the sports brand adidas, having been at the company for almost 10 years. He was Global Sponsorship PR Manager across all major sports events, teams and individuals. He managed the global launch of the brand’s contract with the NZ All Blacks, still the biggest sports marketing contract in rugby to this day. He also managed the brand’s activation of individual contracts with the likes of Jonny Wilkinson, David Beckham & Zinedine Zidane as well as managing the global PR for the adidas’ involvement in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan. Before that he was Head of PR for adidas UK for 5 years.
