Suzanne Virdee

Suzanne Virdee is an award winning and highly experienced TV News Journalist and Presenter. She currently presents the ITV National Weekend News and ITV London news programmes. She is freelance and also works for the BBC reporting on features and documentaries for BBC R4 and BBC Inside Out. Previously Suzanne presented the BBC regional news programme Midlands Today. She started her career in newspapers before getting her first taste of broadcasting working for BBC radio. Suzanne is also an author. Her book A Teenage Girl’s Guide To Being Fabulous is out now on Amazon. She is passionate about empowering young people, especially girls. Her book tackles the subjects that affect young people today such as ‘sexting’ and ‘grooming’ as well as aiming to build self esteem and confidence. It’s aspirational and inspirational. It has been endorsed by parenting organisations, and teachers.
