Biography

Suzanne Virdee is an award winning TV News Journalist and Presenter. She has reported on big stories and presented the news for both the BBC and ITV. She started her career in newspapers before getting her first taste of broadcasting working for BBC radio. Since leaving the BBC Suzanne is freelance and has just written her first book, A Teenage Girl’s Guide To Being Fabulous. She is passionate about empowering young people, especially girls. Her book tackles the subjects that affect young people today such as ‘sexting’ and ‘grooming’ as well as aiming to build self esteem and confidence. It’s aspirational and inspirational. It has been endorsed by parenting organisations, and teachers.
