Toby is a teacher, archivist and landscape historian.
Toby’s work allows him to explore the importance of visual culture and critical thinking in education. In his own teaching and lectures using the visual arts as a way to introduce ideas about culture and knowledge. In recent years he has developed a series of Art and Design resources for the Mayor of London’s London Curriculum for Key Stage 2 and 3 which have an interdisciplinary approach.
At present Toby is chairman of the Education committee for the Arts Scholar’s Company and until recently he sat on the Association of Art History’s Schools committee.
