Tom Freud

Director, Atom Events

Biography

I left school having not worked hard enough and life was a struggle in the working world. I left school on Friday and started washes dishes on Monday. It was June and everyone else had been sensible, saved money and gone travelling. Whilst my life is privileged I’ve not had more than two weeks in a stretch off work. Going out always interested me more than staying in, I watched the city grow, downtrodden areas become cool, cool areas became undesirable. I travelled in my 2 week breaks watching how people had fun around the world and eventually started Atom which serves private clients entertaining or having a lot of fun. I also volunteer on what I believe to be the greatest show in the world – called You Me Bum Bum Train, which I’m assisting with taking to New York in the new year.
